Every year, all volunteers – new, returning, parents and instructors – are required to complete a Safety Training Orientation in order to work with the riders in the program. Each training session is approximately 90 minutes long and will provide an update on policies, schedules, horses and riders for the coming year. For those volunteers who are interested in being a LEADER or working in the BARN, an additional training session must be completed. See the list of upcoming Safety Training Orientations below and RSVP today!
Safety Training Dates
- Dates are announced in the summer and are usually held the second half of August and the first week of September.
- Leader and Barn training will immediately follow each of these training sessions.
Safety Training is required EVERY YEAR and for every individual (parent, volunteer and staff alike) in order for our program to maintain PATH Intl. Premier Center status. Additional Safety Training Sessions may be held throughout the season depending on need, however we prefer ALL volunteers attend the above Safety Training dates if possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
