Mitey Rider Council

The Mitey Rider Council is a group of par­ents and vol­un­teers who want to be more involved in the pro­gram – from orga­niz­ing Volunteer Appreciation Week, to man­ag­ing the monthly newslet­ter, and more, the Mitey Rider coun­cil is an inte­gral part of the suc­cess of Mitey Riders. These meet­ings are open to any cur­rent par­ent or vol­un­teer who would like to attend. Council meet­ings are the sec­ond Tuesday of each month at 7pm and are held at the farm.

  • Volunteer Appreciation
  • Communications
  • Monthly Updates
  • Volunteer Recruitment
  • Merchandise
  • Spring Festival

The President of the Mitey Rider Council for 2010–2011 is Heather Lopina, mother to Emmett and Roma, both Friday rid­ers in the program.

For all par­ents who par­tic­i­pate on the Council, your Hours-4-Ours com­mit­ment is con­sid­ered fulfilled.
