The Mitey Rider Council is a group of parents and volunteers who want to be more involved in the program – from organizing Volunteer Appreciation Week, to managing the monthly newsletter, and more, the Mitey Rider council is an integral part of the success of Mitey Riders. These meetings are open to any current parent or volunteer who would like to attend. Council meetings are the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm and are held at the farm.

- Photography
- Volunteer Appreciation
- Communications
- Monthly Updates
- Volunteer Recruitment
- Merchandise
- Spring Festival
The President of the Mitey Rider Council for 2010–2011 is Heather Lopina, mother to Emmett and Roma, both Friday riders in the program.
For all parents who participate on the Council, your Hours-4-Ours commitment is considered fulfilled.
