Mitey Rider Photo Week is one week of regular classes dedicated to capturing the riders, horses, volunteers and special moments of our program. Even though these moments happen all year long, we allocate a full week of classes to take individual portraits of each rider, and candids throughout class time. The photos are used in our Spring Festival Book distributed at the end of the season as well as in Program materials such as brochures and postcards. Many thanks to local photographer Vikki Johnson who has donated her time and photography to Mitey Riders for several years.
Please note, there is no cost for riders to participate in this week – it is a farm event.
Photo Week is usually held in October – Watch the sign-in room for announcements about Photo Week.
Volunteer Photographers are always welcome!
Volunteer willing to take candid shots during Photo Week and throughout the year are always appreciated!
Please forward your pictures to the Mitey Riders office!
Mitey Riders thanks all the professional and amateur photographers that have donated their time and images to the Mitey Riders Program. Your images help us convey the heart of our very special program in all of our print and digital communications. Thank you for all you do for us!
